A-1 VISA
The A-1 diplomatic visa is a non-immigrant visa which allows foreign officers of permanent diplomatic missions or consular posts to enter into the U.S. and engage in official activities. The type of visa required by a diplomat or other government official depends upon their purpose of travel to the United States. Foreign officials who are traveling to the United States on official business activities must obtain a visa prior to their entry. Primary A-1 visa holders must be coming to the U.S. on behalf of their national government to engage solely in official activities for that government. The fact that there may be government interest or control in a given organization is not in itself the defining factor in determining if the applicant qualifies for a visa; the particular duties or services that will be performed must be governmental in character or nature. An A-1 visa holder is admitted to the U.S. for the duration of status i.e. for the duration of his/her official duties.
BENEFITS OF A-1 VISA
