IR-3 Global Allianz Law Firm LLP has the expertise to file your immigration application for IR-3 visa.
This is an immigrant visa issued to the immediate relative of the U.S. citizen. If your adopted child or the child whom you intend to adopt in the United States is residing abroad, the child will need an immigrant visa to enter the United States. This Visa is issued by the U.S. Department of State (DOS) at the Embassy or Consulate in the foreign country where your child resides.
The type of visa your child is issued will determine what steps you need to take for the child to acquire U.S. citizenship.
WHO CAN BE ISSUED IR-3 VISA?
This visa is issued to the orphan resident in a non-Hague country adopted by U.S. citizens, whose adoption was finalized outside the U.S.
Note: In order for an IR-3 visa to be issued, U.S. regulations require that both adoptive parents take part in the overseas adoption and actually meet with the child in the child’s home country. If only one parent travels to pick up the child, the child will be issued an IR-4 visa instead.
